Early-August Mid-Week Walking
(2011-08-01)

During the week beginning 1st August, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.



The evening walk is on Wednesday, 3rd August and will start at 7.00 pm from Bank Foot (near Ingleby Geenhow) - see the map below.

Sunday Walking to Staithes

On Sunday, 31st July, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Roxby area of the North York Moors. All walks will finish in Staithes {NZ 781 184} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at North Skelton {NZ 674 184} and will take in Loftus Wood, Roxby, Hinderwell and part of the Cleveland Way.

The B-walk will commence at Loftus {NZ 717 183} and will visit Gother Hill, Roxby, Newton Bank, Hinderwell and a section of the Cleveland Way.

The C-walk will set off from Easington {NZ 744 180} and will pass through America House, Newton Mulgrave and Port Mulgrave.

This is a Route 1 coach pick up (Billingham: 9.30 am, Stockton: 9.45 am and Acklam: 10.00 am).

SPECIAL EVENT: Open-air Ceilidh

On Saturday, 30th July, Stockton Rambling Club has a special event organised. This will take the form of an open-air ceilidh. The event will take place between 6.00-9.00 pm at Preston Park Walled Garden.

The cost of this event is £5.00. Please bring your own chairs, picnic and drinks.
