Sunday Walking to Pelton

On Sunday, 26th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Whickham area of Gateshead. All walks will start near Swalwell {NZ 200 621} and finish in Pelton {NZ 252 531} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will take in Cockburn Wood, Gibside Hillhead, Causey Gill and Beamish Mill.
 
The B-walk will visit Cockburn Wood, Gibside Hillhead, Tanfield, Causey Arch and Causey Gill.
 
The C-walk will follow the Derwent Walk and also pass through Sunnyside, Causey, Beamish Hall and Planetree House.
 
This is a Route 3 coach pick-up (Acklam: 9.00 am, Stockton: 9.15 am and Billingham: 9.30 am).
