The SRC walking weekend will take place on the weekend of the 9th October. We will be staying in the Best Western Station Hotel in the Dumfries area of Scotland {NX 976 764} - see the following map.

DAY 1 Details (Saturday walks)

On Saturday, 10th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Annandale area of the Dumfries and Galloway region. All walks will start and finish in Moffat {NT 085 052} - see the following map.

The A-walk will take in Nether Coomb Craig, Hart Fell, Arthur's Seat, Well Rigg and the River Annan.
 
The B-walk will visit Nether Coomb Craig, Swatte Fell, Blue Cairn and Hind Hill
 
The C-walk will pass through Sparrow Hill, Highlandman's Loop, Hind Hill and Gallow Hill.
 

DAY 2 Details (Sunday Walks)

On Sunday, 11th October, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Dalbeattie Forest area of Dumfries and Galloway. All walks will finish in Dalbeattie {NX 832 613} - see the following map.

The A-walk will start at Sandyhills {NX 890 553} and will take in Torrs Hill, the coastal path, Rockcliffe, Kippford and Dalbeattie Forest.
 
The B-walk will commence near Sandyhills and will visit High Portling, the coastal path, Kippford and Dalbeattie Forest.
 
The C-walk will set off from Rockcliffe {NX 850 536} and will take in the coastal path, Muckle Lands, Kippford and Dalbeattie Forest.
