Late-June Mid-Week Walking (2017-06-26)

During the week beginning 26th June, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.
 


The evening walk is on Wednesday, 28th June and will start at 7.00 pm from the Queen Catherine hostelry in Osmotherley (DL6 3AG) {SE456.792} - see the map below.

This walk will not be longer than 6 miles (C-Pace).

The day walk is on Thursday, 29th June. It will start at 10.30 am from Newgate Bank {SE564.890} - see the map below.

Sunday Walking to Bolton Abbey

On Sunday, 25th June, the Stockton Rambling Club will have three walks in the Skipton area of North Yorkshire. All walks will finish in Bolton Abbey {SE070.539} - see the following maps.

The A-walk will start at Gargrave {SD939.543} and will take in Flasby, Sharp Haw, Embsay Crag, Halton Height and a section of the Dales Way.
 
The B-walk will also commence at Gargrave and will visit Rylstone, Sun Moor Hill, Embsay Moor and Halton East.
 
The C-walk will set off from Bolton Bridge {SE070.530} and will pass through The Strand, The Strid, Eller Carr Hill and Hesketh House.
 
This is a Route 1 coach pick-up (Billingham: 8.30 am, Stockton: 8.45 am and Acklam: 9.00 am). Note: Early start.

During the week beginning 19th June, Stockton Rambling Club will have TWO mid-week walks available. One is an evening walk and the other is a day walk.

On Saturday, 17th June, Stockton Rambling Club has a special event organised. This will take the form of a 20-mile circular walk in the Hawes area. Please meet in the car park of the Yorkshire Dales National Park Centre in Hawes {SD875.899}. Timing and walk details will be distributed later.
